Clothing is removed by the client in the privacy of the treatment room, and the client lies on the massage
table and covers up completely with a sheet (and blanket if the client is cold.) Then the therapist knocks and
asks if the client is ready and re-enters the room when the client is draped and comfortable. Only the portions
of the body being worked on by the therapist are undraped, in order to maintain the client's warmth and modesty, according
to Arkansas state law.

Massage can relieve painful muscle spasms and trigger points and help break up scar tissue. It increases
lymphatic and blood circulation; thereby aiding conditions like neuropathy. And by encouraging the parasympathetic response,
massage creates an environment of relaxation thereby reducing mental and emotional tension as well as physical. This
can reduce high blood pressure and ease depression.
