You may commission me to do a portrait from a photograph. The portrait will be much better if the model can attend at
least one sitting. I prefer to work from at least a 5x7 or larger. I can enlarge small ones, but the quality suffers. The
photo will be returned unharmed.
My price range for graphite as shown is $200-$1500 depending on size and whether a head shot, a bust or a full figure.
My price range for a pastel painting is $400-$1800 depending on the size and complexity. I use fixatif on the art and
mail it rolled. I do not mat or frame the work.
It takes many hours to complete a portrait. Therefore arrangements to meet a deadline such as an anniversary must
be made well in advance, several months for a large painting.
